It is our great pleasure to invite you to join us for attending the symposium to be held during November 21 – 24, 2016, in Hsinchu, Taiwan. This symposium has a main subject in next-generation solar cells and solar energy conversion. It is being organised jointly by the National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) in Taiwan and the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) in UK. This symposium is also associated with celebration of 80th birthday for Prof. M. C. Lin and Prof. S. H. Lin; both are distinguished chair professors at NCTU. Moreover, this event also coincides with the 120th anniversary of NCTU and the 175th anniversary of Royal Society of Chemistry. The objectives for the meeting are to allow researchers to explore new technologies for the next-generation of solar cells and to share research ideas and results on the latest advances in solar energy conversion. We hope that this will lead to new collaborations and partnerships between the scientists involved.
